Traci grew up in the Brighton CO area, she spent many summers and holidays at her families in Sedgwick County. After graduating from BHS in 2001 Traci moved to Ovid where she worked at her aunt’s local grocery store and local packing plant. In 2003 after having her only son, Traci bought her great grandparents’ house and has called Sedgwick home since. Traci is currently the Assistant Manager at the Kelley Bean Company in Ovid and full time student at GCU. Traci hopes to use her degree in Bachelor of Science locally once completed. In 2018 Traci and her husband started their own outdoor guide business. Traci enjoys serving her community by being active on the Sedgwick Town Board and Revere Accountability Committee. Traci joined the SCOR Board in November 2022 and hopes to bring ideas from Sedgwick to help build a community center all of Sedgwick County can enjoy.
Wendy and her husband moved to Sedgwick County in 2008 to be closer to friends and family and joined SCOR in 2019 to become more involved in community service. Wendy’s experience and knowledge of the community is a huge asset to SCOR and our mission to provide recreational activities to all members of Sedgwick County.
Brenda joined SCOR in 2019 and has lived in Julesburg for over 10 years now. Her and her husband are raising their two daughters in this small community which they love. She is highly involved in the community including sports, PTO, and Rotary. Brenda decided to join SCOR to volunteer her time to continue to provide recreational activities for all member of Sedgwick County. She believes in building the community up with the youth and providing recreational opportunities for all ages.

Kim and her husband are natives to the Sedgwick County community and raised their three children there. Kim retired from teaching in the local school after 32 years of service and is currently working as a part-time Office Manager for the local Arts Centre/Theater and as part-time Executive Director for a Private Foundation. Their family purchased a local business in 2022 which her husband manages. Kim has been on the Sedgwick County Organized Recreation board helping to raise funds and make design plans for the community pool project since joining the Board in 2017. She is also active in church activities, is a volunteer at the Hippodrome Arts Centre, is a PEO member and on the community board for Communities that Care.

Patty was the owner of “All That Jazz”, a local flower/gift shop, previously she serviced as the Sedgwick County Clerk and Recorder for 10 years. Patty has been a member of SCOR since 2015, before that she spent the last 30 years volunteering her time to different organizations working to improve and preserve the community that she has devoted her life to. The Carter family has farmed in Sedgwick County since 1950. Patty is commitment to the community and the work SCOR is doing to continue to provide new opportunities for all members of Sedgwick County. Her wealth of knowledge and business acumen has helped guide SCOR and its members throughout the years.
Aidan Hettler joined the SCOR Board in March of 2023, and is the proud and ambitious Chief Executive Officer of the Sedgwick County Health Center system. He assumed the role in September of 2022, and is focused on restoring the financial viability of the health system, creating enhanced career opportunities, and expanding service offering
Aidan Hettler joined the SCOR Board in March of 2023, and is the proud and ambitious Chief Executive Officer of the Sedgwick County Health Center system. He assumed the role in September of 2022, and is focused on restoring the financial viability of the health system, creating enhanced career opportunities, and expanding service offerings to the communities SCHC serves. Since he moved to Sedgwick County in the spring of 2021, Aidan has dedicated himself to being an active member of the community by joining the SCOR Board, the Sedgwick County Rotary Club, member of the Gateway Foundation. As a community leader, he recognizes the importance of integrating all of the community’s collective resources to advance the opportunities available for our current and future residents.
Dennis and wife Marcia celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2022 and have lived in Sedgwick County for over 30 years. Marcia was a primary teacher for 30+ years and now works part time as events planner for the Hippodrome Arts Centre. Dennis taught for 30 years and during his career he coached football, basketball and track and
Dennis and wife Marcia celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2022 and have lived in Sedgwick County for over 30 years. Marcia was a primary teacher for 30+ years and now works part time as events planner for the Hippodrome Arts Centre. Dennis taught for 30 years and during his career he coached football, basketball and track and field. Since retirement he has kept busy with several part time jobs that have included, recreation director and pool manager for the Town of Julesburg, Sedgwick County Athletic Director and coordinator for 2 large grants totaling over $1.6M from the Colorado Health Foundation. The grants were awarded to NEBOCES and helped NE Colorado Schools address healthy school curriculums and emphasize movement in K-12 school settings. They have one daughter, Aubrie, who lives in Arvada Colorado and works as a website developer consultant. Dennis enjoys family, travel and outdoor activities including water sports, snow skiing and golf. He is an active church member/volunteer and current president for the Hippodrome Arts Centre.
Tammy is married to Don Schneider of Ovid where they farm and raise cattle. After two rewarding professions in banking and business management, Tammy retired after 37 years of serving in those capacities. She recently put retirement on hold and is now the Executive Secretary for a newly organized Private Foundation in Sedgwick County. Tammy has served the community in various school clubs, organizations, and committees, Goals 2000 Grant Facilitator, and as a Baby Bear Hugs volunteer. She continues to serve as a Hippodrome volunteer and on various committees at the Ovid United Methodist Church. Tammy joined the SCOR Board in 2022 to help bring her knowledge and expertise of business management to the organization.
