Meet our SCOR Director!

Victoria Dunker

  

The Sedgwick County Organized Recreation Board of Directors, in coordination with Sedgwick County, are pleased to announce that Victoria Dunker of Ovid, CO has been hired as the new Director of Operations for the Sedgwick County Community Center (SCCC). She began her new position in October 2023 and is in charge of setting up athletic programs for youth sports, adult programs within the facility, and the overall management of the facility. 

Her educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Human Communication with a minor in coaching from the University of Northern Colorado as well as a Master of Science in Sports Administration, Sports and Exercise Science also from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. She also has had experience as the Border League Baseball Director, a high school basketball coach and assistant Athletic Director, and has been working in a similar Recreation Director position for the Town of Holyoke for the past 6 years providing year-round activities for the Town and organizing their youth sports programs. 

At the new SCCC facility she oversees the recreational programs while coordinating the use of the building. Information regarding building rentals and programs can be found here on our website or by emailing Victoria at scordirector@gmail.com
